Abundant Life Church is a body of believers who will connect with God through worship, gain clarity from and applying the word of God, and commit to being witnesses for our God. Here at Abundant Life, we are being empowered by the Word of God to live life without limits. The word of God liberates us from the boundaries we have set on our lives to a life of walking into the fullness of God’s promises and our purpose. While we experience life here on earth the Word of God explains and exposes us to embrace the totality of life that God has given us. Not just any life but to experience the Abundant Life that God promises us that we already have. We embrace the fact that faith or belief comes by hearing and hearing from the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Settling is not our standard of living but soaring to the level that God has mandated through His word for our lives. At the ALC we will continue the charge and mandated mission that Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19-20. We are to go and make disciples of all nations and teach them to observe all things that Jesus has commanded. Our desire is that everyone be saved through the saving power of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ (Romans 10:9) and have a relationship with our Lord who has saved us. As a body of believing laborers, we are to work the works of Him who has saved us to edify the Kingdom of God! We recognize and will respond to what God has planted us to fulfill and that assignment is to implement His kingdom agenda which provides hope and help within our community, our city, our country, and our world. We are here not to just exist but to evolve and empower an evangelistic evolution. To God be the glory!
ABUNDANT LIFE CHURCH BLOG
In September of 2009, the Spirit of the Living God spoke to our Pastor specifically the name, Abundant Life Church. Interestingly enough, God never spoke again about it until the beginning of 2015. Much like David when he was anointed by Samuel to be God’s anointed king for the future, then having to go back to tending his father Jesse’s sheep in which our Pastor could readily identify with this biblical instance. As God spoke or anointed him for his future pastoral assignment, it wasn’t time to fulfill it. Even though God had spoken, Pastor continued to serve as Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor tending to his spiritual father Dr. Roy Elton Brackins’ sheep. On January 6th, 2015 the day after our Pastor celebrated 12 years of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ
